It’s Canada’s 158th birthday!
There are lots of things to do across the city to fill your day off. Get out in the sun! The forecast is looking great.
There’s a pancake breakfast, show and shine, markets, festival activities, entertainment, food trucks, baseball games, fireworks, and more. And transit is free all day, 8am till midnight. Here's your guide to all the activities planned in Lethbridge this Canada Day!
Pancake Breakfast
9am-12pm
Galt Gardens
A great way to kick off the day is to line up for a fundraiser pancake breakfast at Galt Gardens supporting the Interfaith Food Bank.
Outdoor Market
9am-4pm
Galt Gardens
Alongside the pancake breakfast and show and shine, visit the Canada Day market in Galt Gardens supporting the Interfaith Food Bank with dozens of local vendors.
Show & Shine
10am-4pm
Galt Gardens
Join the Le Barons Car Club for a community car show supporting the Interfaith Food Bank. Check out classic, muscle and custom cars in Galt Gardens. There will also be food trucks and a community stage for entertainment.
Ribfest
11am-9pm
Lethbridge & District Exhibition Grounds
The Western Canada Ribfest Tour is back and Canada Day is their final day in Lethbridge. Enjoy award-winning BBQ and live entertainment at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition Grounds.
Nikka Yuko Canada Day Festival

Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden
There’s a full day of activities planned for a Canada Day festival at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. Enjoy a full day of live performances, cultural experiences, hands-on activities, and free film screenings.

Lethbridge Bulls Baseball Games

Spitz Stadium
The Weyburn Beavers are in town taking on our Lethbridge Bulls for a Canada Day double-header. Grab tickets for the 2:05pm or 7:35pm game, get a drink, enjoy a seat in the stands, and cheer on our Western Canadian Baseball League team at Spitz Stadium.
Henderson Lake Park Kids & Family Fun Zone
11am-8pm
Henderson Lake Park
The City of Lethbridge and Lethbridge & District Exhibition are combining forces this year with the Kids Zone setting up in the northwest corner of Henderson Lake Park. Bring the kids and enjoy a youth vendor market, face painters, bouncy castles, a circus act, a magic science show, a cheerleading demonstration, the Lethbridge Public Library Bookmobile, and displays from the Canadian Army, Lethbridge Police Service, and lots more.
Lethbridge & District Exhibition Main Stage

Lethbridge & District Exhibition Grounds
The City of Lethbridge and Lethbridge & District Exhibition are combining forces this year with the main stage setting up next to the Agrifood Hub for the first time. Enjoy food trucks, vendors, and lots of entertainment from the stage.

Canada Day will close with a bang with a fireworks display at the west end of Henderson Lake Park. This is, of course, weather permitting. Bring lawns chairs and a picnic blanket and watch the Lethbridge sky light up!
